Last updated: October 8, 2026. Western Ave Auto Body ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described below.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly. Most of it comes in when you ask for an estimate. You can text photos of the damage and your VIN to (310) 801-2929, or upload photos with the estimate form on our website. We collect:

• Contact information: your name, phone number, and email address if you give it
• Vehicle information: year, make, model, license plate, VIN, and the photos you text or upload
• Service information: a description of the damage, plus your insurance company, claim number, and other insurance details if you give them
• Communications: messages you send us through our website, by email, or by text

How we use your information

The photos, VIN, and other details you send for an estimate are used only to prepare your estimate, repair your vehicle, and contact you about your vehicle. When you ask us to handle an insurance claim, that includes working with your insurance company on your behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

Put another way, we use the information you give us to:

• Prepare estimates and complete repairs on your vehicle
• Talk with you about your estimate, appointment, or repair status
• Process insurance claims with your insurance company on your behalf
• Send service reminders, review requests, and occasional offers, only if you opted in
• Improve our services and answer your questions

Text messages

If you text us, we use the number you texted from to reply to you about your vehicle. If you give us your phone number and check the consent box on our website form, or agree in person at our shop, you agree to receive text messages from Western Ave Auto Body. These can include estimate confirmations, vehicle pickup notices, review requests, and occasional service reminders or offers.

Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by telling us. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (213) 734-2300.

We do not share, sell, or rent your phone number or text message content to third parties for marketing. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share information

We share your information only as needed to provide our services or as required by law:

• Insurance companies: when you authorize us to handle a claim on your behalf
• Parts suppliers and subcontractors: only what they need to source parts or finish specialized work, such as glass or alignment
• Our website host, Netlify: it processes the estimate form you submit on our website, including any photos you upload with it
• Other service providers: trusted vendors who help us run our website, send text messages, or process payments, under confidentiality agreements
• Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or court order

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure website traffic and see how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, they are not set. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Once you accept, we and our service providers collect certain information automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site.

We also count page visits and taps on our call and text buttons with a simple counter that runs on our website host (Netlify). It does not use cookies, and it does not store your IP address or anything else that identifies you. For each page view or tap it records only the page, the kind of site that sent you (for example, a search engine), whether you're on a phone or a computer, the language of the page, and the hour. Your browser keeps the name of the site that sent you only until you close the tab.

Google Maps on our contact page

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, Google may collect data about your visit under Google's own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Repair records may be kept for warranty and insurance purposes.

You can:

• Stop text messages by replying STOP to any message, or by telling us
• Opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe in any email
• Decline analytics cookies on the cookie banner, or change your choice later with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. To opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, or to ask for access, correction, or deletion, you can:

• Turn on the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supported browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and keep only what we need.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
