BMW collision repair in Los Angeles

Newer BMWs are built from a mix of high-strength steel and aluminum. Each metal has its own repair rules for heat, welding, bonding and which parts can be straightened versus replaced. Our techs are trained on aluminum, so the structural work on an M3, an X5 or a 7 Series follows BMW's own repair procedures.

Before any paint goes on, the frame is measured and brought back to BMW's factory dimensions. On a car this precise, a few millimeters off shows up later as uneven panel gaps or an alignment that never feels right.

We see everything from 3 Series daily drivers to M3, M4, M5, M8, X5 M and X6 M. The performance cars go through the same process as the rest: OEM parts, frame measured to spec, and paint mixed to the factory color code.

BMW metallic paints are hard to match by eye, so we blend the new color into the panels next to the repair. That way the door you had fixed doesn't look a shade off from the fender beside it.

BMW parts cost more, and an estimate written from a few photos usually misses something once the bumper comes off. When that happens we document it and send a supplement to the adjuster.
