Teslas use large aluminum castings and aluminum panels that need dedicated tools and training. A shop that mostly fixes steel cars can make a Tesla look right and still get the structure wrong. Our techs are aluminum-trained, and we use OEM parts from Tesla.

Every Tesla also carries cameras and sensors for Autopilot and the safety systems. After structural or panel work, those have to be recalibrated. We do that in-house and check the systems before you drive away. Before we lift or cut anything, we also follow EV-safe procedures for the high-voltage battery.

Each Tesla has its own weak spots after a crash, so we keep separate pages for them:

• Model 3: aluminum front end on a high-strength steel body, and a glass roof that carries cameras.
• Model Y: big single-piece castings front and rear that sometimes have to be sectioned or replaced.
• Model S and Model X: an all-aluminum space frame, plus falcon wing doors on the X that need to be realigned after a side hit.
• Cybertruck: a stainless steel exoskeleton that can't be painted the normal way.

Tesla repairs often turn up hidden damage once the car is apart, especially around the aluminum structure. We document it with photos and notes on the aluminum structure work, then send supplemental claims to the adjuster so the repair isn't held to the first estimate.
